Details: 5th Annual Buddy Walk of Whatcom County Saturday, October 4, 2008 11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. Maritime Heritage Park Bellingham, WA Plan to attend this event! This is the most important event of the year for DsO of Whatcom County. Grab your buddy, bring a picnic lunch, walk the 1.25 mile walk, hang out and enjoy the festivities while raising awareness and acceptance for persons with Down syndrome. Activities include: the ever-popular face painting, balloon tying expert – Brit Anderson, guest speakers, exhibits, music, dancing and door prizes. Registration for the walk begins at 11:00 AM.
