Hi, my name is Betty, and I am two years old. I live in Lyons, Illinois, with my big brother Ian and my mommy and daddy. I love to play with all my toys with my brother and even like to take them from him and walk quickly away so he can't catch me! I love to watch “The Wiggles” and “Sesame Street.” I also enjoy listening to nursery rhymes and love to hear my mommy sing to me!

My goal for the future is to be all that I can be. For now, I'm proud to have such a great family that loves and supports me. I also very proud that I LOVE food – all kinds – like cottage cheese and spaghetti with meatballs. (You gotta have meatballs!) I even like veggies, too, and pizza, and ice cream – just everything! 

My family and I participate in the Down Syndrome Support Buddy Walk. My mommy is the chairperson for sponsors and auction/raffle and donation items. She writes all the letters and makes lots of phone calls to make sure there are fun games and stuff for everyone! I don't have any memories of the Buddy Walk because I am still too tiny to remember things right now, but this will be our third walk, and I am looking forward to it!
