Dan, New York, NY

Twenty-seven-year-old Dan is an avid athlete. He participates in Special Olympics swimming and is a New York state champ. Dan also enjoys skiing and golfing with his family on Big Moose Lake in upstate New York. But above all, he enjoys visiting his parents and sister in New York City, taking in a show and having dinner at Carmine's!

Dan has just moved into a group home in New York state with his three friends, and he is having a wonderful life. Dan works at the Holiday Inn Express and has made a movie that aired on Showtime. Dan was also the spokesperson for his agency’s Albany telethon. He really enjoys the spotlight, and deservedly so!

Dan hopes to continue living with his friends and working at the Holiday Inn, but he would also love to get an agent and work on his movie career.

Dan will attend the New York City Buddy Walk on September 26. His parents moved here in January, so this will be everyone's first time attending. Both Dan and his family are looking forward to many more walks in the future.
