Nash, Indianapolis, IN

My name is Nash. I’m 3 years old and live in Indianapolis, IN.  I love to read books with my mom and dad, play with my lab Rudy, and swim! I also love to play “Duck, Duck, Goose” with my preschool friends.

I am very proud that I was able read and recite all of my ABCs from my Love and Learning book before I turned 3. I’m also proud that I can almost swim!

My mom and dad are very active members of the Indiana Down Syndrome Foundation, Parent Network, and Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (D.A.D.S.), and would love to keep advocating on behalf of people with Down syndrome. Daddy says we will start a speaking bureau soon! I have already been on three TV spots and two radio segments talking about the Buddy Walk. I know I can do anything I put my mind to, and that is what’s important.

My family participates in the Indiana Down Syndrome Foundation Buddy Walk in Indianapolis. This will be our third year attending. My favorite part of the Buddy Walk is meeting new friends and catching up with others. Mom loves meeting those she met on the Internet groups, too.
