Meghan, Carmel State, IN
 
Hi!  My name is Meghan, and I live in Carmel State, IN.  I am in the third grade, and my favorite things to do are to sing and dance! Because I turn my CD player up so loud in my room, my mom worried that I had a hearing problem – but I don’t! 

I am in a musical theater class and love it. I also love to swim, read books and hang out with my friends. I love school, and I am especially good at spelling! I am very proud of the fact that I got an “A” in spelling and am on the same level as my classmates. I also taught myself to do cursive writing!

In the future, I want to be able to go to a college for people with disabilities, to live on my own, and especially to have lots of friends. I might even be a dancer or a singer!

I participate in the Indianapolis, IN, Buddy Walk, which I have been going to since it began seven years ago. My favorite Buddy Walk memory is from last year when several of my classmates came and walked with me. I loved it!
